APC Petroleum Industry Vision

















The APC is serving IT,GeoSciences, Design services engineering consultants serving the  Upstream,Midstream & Downstream Oil &Gas  industry in Alberta.
Objectives 
The objectives of the Association are: 
1. To provide a forum for discussion on issues of common interests. 
2. To promote co-operation among members. 
3. To promote the use and development of local resources in the oil, gas and petrochemical 
industries. 
4. To collaborate with local research centers and institutions to stimulate skills development in 
Canada.
5. To promote the development of graduate engineers and professionals in the oil, gas and 
petrochemical industries. 
The Association shall be a non profit organization. 
In furtherance of its objectives the Association may affiliate with any relevant Malaysian and 
international institution pursuing similar objectives. 
Activities 
Since its inception, APC has been active, organizing technical talks, an annual high-tea event, 
supporting conferences and the Industry Gala Dinner event. In its early years, the Association played 
a key role for HR  initiatives to help the Oil industry for their manpower needs by active participation 
and representation of the engineering industry. Today it is actively supporting Alberta’s vision 
And focusing on the solutions for oilsands projects as it  provides a forum for members 
to discuss common issues. The APC  Council which meet monthly in Downtown Calgary.
Vision & Mission
It is an effective platform to promote the advancement of the oil and gas engineering profession. 
APC is involved in activities to represent, promote and defend the interests of the industry to 
Government, clients and business associates. Through APC, members can be sure 
that their voice is heard and that people are aware of the value provided by the Engineering 
Consultants in the oil and gas industry.

Networking

APC web site lists hundreds of jobs at all levels, which you can search by keyword, location, or job type. APC members have an advantage, as they can see new job listings for a full seven days before the public can.
The APCA Marketplace
The APC Marketplace is a service to connect consultants and freelancers with prospective clients. While the public can view the directory, only APC members can create entries describing their services.

  APC offers plentiful resources to hone your skills, learn from the experiences of others, and study new areas of interest.

Provide a platform to work together and share expertise and build a Network of professionals.
Alberta Petroleum Council has a vision of serving the public with a balanced and impartial
Views about the petroleum industry projects including,rehabilitation and reforestation of land.
This   umbrella organisation for the independent Petroleum  Consultants will also  offer Continuous
Education,Seminars on Innovative Technology,Job referral service and training for its members.
